all I'm gonna say is: This debate is old. Lucas said no before he started the prequels. And all those books that people wrote were just pieces of fiction that had nothing to do with Lucas's vision....

well listen, if george lucas isn't going to be around in the new system to make them, someone is going to have to. easier to start with something already written, i always say. but i would much rather have something more interesting to debate. you think george lucas planned for luke and leia to be related? cause they are making out all over the place in the 1st and 2nd ones.
