are there different tasks where a smooth vs a ridged paperclip is better?
yea thats what i wanna know, whats the point....
obviously you people have never worked in an office!
actually, both of them have worked in an office for most of their working careers, as have i. but i dont know the diff either. in fact i hate paperclips.
I prefer smooth....all the time
why, what makes the difference?
isn't it obvious? if you're taking the papers apart alot, you use the smooth paper clip. if it's more permanent, or if you want to make sure important papers don't seperate (i.e. contracts, legal docs, etc.), you use the rigid paper clips. the rigid ones hold the pages together pretty well.
ridges also leaves smudges
