I think the ebay one makes the most sense. Find a real competitive item and bid once.

You have to do it through their link, but I don't know if the email address matters.

Once you bid on something, though, it takes 2-3 for it to clear with freeipods.com, so give it time.

I did it with a different email addy. But it still hasn't shown that I've completed the process. I'll give it till Monday to see if it updates.

My friend did the Ancestery.com one and quit right away but I show on my screen that he completed the process.

Ancestry.com hasn't been showing up as an offer for me.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that works. Some people see it, some don't. And some people only see it after logging out and back in.
