but sea water is slippery from the salt (and little jellies that have been floating around). Have you ever tried grabbing someone who is wet from ocean water? slippery like an eel. Plus we will bring a couple of items to help us slide along if necessary.

i'm not sure exactly how fast YOU can run, but i wouldn't classify this as high speed. and a little sand rash never killed anyone. besides, we had already decided to bring some inner tubes to use instead just in case of that scenario.
