Make-up is dumb. My house (with four girls) has never been a girly-girl house. My mom has curly hair so growing up she never learned how to do a lot of stuff with her hair (like different ways to put it up, blow drying it straight etc.) because she didn't feel the need to do anything with it. Also, she was never a big fan of make up. The result? None of her three daughters had any clue what to do.
I am make-up retarded. I'll try and wear it if I'm going out somewhere nice or fun but daily? Absolutely not. I wear moisturizer cause it feels nice and lots of chapstick. Oh, and eyebrow gel..that stuff is amazing! I own a few different lip glosses (lip stick is gross, it gets all dry and nasty) which I rarely wear and mascara which gets used once a month maybe. Oh, and I have a nice foundation/cover up that I only use if like..my face looks really uneven and blotchy sometimes which doesnt happen very often so..it just sits on my shelf and makes me look like I'm a girl when I'm not.
That last poll makes me kind of sad. I love my t-shirts and jeans, I'm only comfortable dressing like that. But then I go into stores where they have all nice dressy-up clothes that are beautiful and I want them but I'd never wear them. How do you hang around on the couch wearing a shirt that costs $75?
total opposite here lindz, My mom won't go out to walk the dog without makeup & sometimes i get a bit paranoid about it too but now that i'm older i don't worry as much as i used to. The whole putting clothes on that have been lieing on the floor 4 a week is probly the biggest thing i do & i don't feel weird or bad about it at all* oh well!!! ;)
