you call this "new methodology" but didn't all the older movies do this? They made you feel the prescence of an evil entity, but never really showed you the whole thing. When I say old, I'm not refering to all those old B movies that have the most fake looking aliens and junk in them. I'm talking Alfred Hitchcock style. In Psycho, you never really saw "the murderer", it was not until the end that all was revealed (very similar to Signs). Anyway...just a thought....and I'm starting to lose my focus, so I'll stop talking here.

what about "jaws"? you never saw the shark until nearly 45 minutes into the movie. that helped to build up the suspense.
