all of these aren't what i call noteworthy. quite corporate.
the Lost in Translation sndtrck is amazing. Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Minds sndtrck is really good. Lots of original scoring by Jon Brion. the Magnolia sndtrck is very good. Lots of stuff by Aimee Mann. Death in Vegas, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers, Moby and even Fatboy Slim are good for soundtracks. What's the tone of the movie? What demographic are you's trying to appeal to? What genre do you think it'll fall under? Answer that and I'll have more input.
The tone well... it's a psychological thriller.
The demographic/target audience hmmmm from 18 to 20 somethings.
It's a perspective piece something that makes you think.
Genre: hmmmm I'll say primarily alternative
idealy, if you had all the clout and pull in the world, what famous name would you have direct? who would you have star? who would you say you're trying to emulate, if anyone? where has inspiration been derived?
Hmmmmmmm director David Nutter or Robert Rodriguez definately leaning towards Rodriguez. Ummm Christina Milan would be ideal, or Zoe Saldana. I don't really want to emulate anyone I'd want to do my own thing and hopefully it would become my style my trade mark.
Rodriguez! Interesting. Then rock songs would work, maybe a couple techno tracks, then throw in some spanish music and thats that! maybe a lil scoring, some strings to bridge the scenes and during exterior establishing shots.
i put your ideas on a website and sold them for hundres of dollars
??? not quite sure I follow.
