Ok, my e-slip in the eZabel suggestion box is as follows:
The moderation gestapo is not doing their job. I mean it is not often something gets marked funny or off-topic or stupid. And when it is done, it seems there is a bias leaning towards it. In other words, certain people get modded cetain things in the same forums by the same people. Or so it would seem.
So i think the mods should have more time dedicated to this type of action. Plus it seems Ian is the only one lately who diffuses situations. There is not much inflammatory speech, but what there is goes by unnoticed.
Not that i am saying eZabel should be a police state by any means. But if more was marked off-topic, i think more off-topic posts wouldn't be posted. At the very least, i think it is a worthwhile experiment. If it fails, so be it..
As a..hmm..something going along with this. I suggest that I be a mod in another forum. I've been itching to mod stuff but nothing happens in my forum!
