beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·

ay yo tambien. mi gramatica es muy malo. yo necesito alguien para ayudarme.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003 ·

thats why we use "slang" its so much easier.

beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·

i don't know much slang. only the bad words hehe

socalgal socalgalOG 2003 ·

hahaha...our slang are words that're made up....like parking is "estacionamiento" and we use "parkiando"...like we take english words and add a spanish flare to it. thats how we speak it here.

Like i learned "monkey" to be "chango" and "doll" is "monito" which is something totally different. it's jsut weird. LOL

beachbum beachbumOG 2002 ·

hahaha yeah if you said those words to me i definitely wouldn't know what you meant. i only know the proper words. i know a lot of spanish people 'spanglishize' words. like roof is roofu instead of techo. makes it hard to know what anyone is talking about.

malibu malibuOG 2001 ·

the most ridiculous spanglish word is in costa rica instead of coche for car, its carra.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003 · malibu

see, we use carra for face and carro for car. its strange sometimes.

sunshyne sunshyneOG 2004 · socalgal

in italian, cara means darling.

flomojopoanode flomojopoanodeFounder · malibu

no, no. In Costa Rica they say "carro", and many other South American countries do, too.
