My biggest fear is driving into water.
I agree, that is very scary... and not much you can do if you get stuck in your car with the windows up...
You guys have it pretty good...you have a nice long farmy scenic drive to your assembly hall. For those of us that meet at Stanley we have to cross several long bridges. This is also my fear. Not my dying so much but, my grandmother can't swim she can only float and my sister and I have wondered how long we could keep her afloat. :-(
My mom can't really swim either! Like, I'm a pretty strong swimmer but..its just getting her out of the car and up to surface. Freaks me out so much.
And if the windows are up you have to wait until the whole car fills with water before opening the doors. So terrifying.
I'd most certianly smashed the windows, hold my breath, let the water fill, and get outta there. I'd never go out like that.
You're supposed to roll your window down. If you have electric windows, you can request a tiny glass hammer from your insurance company to keep in your glove compartment. It lets the water in slowly.
If you smashed the windows when you're already underwater you'd never get out because the water pressure coming in would make it impossible until it was equal.
I'd let it fill.
yea there is.. you wait until the inside of the car is totally submerged .. .take your last break.. once the pressure is equalized you should be able to open the door.
or think quick enough .. that as you're going into the water.. you roll down your windows... your electrical system should hold out.. a truck doesn't sink immediately.
That's what I said. Copycat.
not if you have roll windows
