So I used to HATE broaches (correct my spelling if it's wrong) Cuz old ladies would wear HUGE obnoxious ones, just ugly. And teachers would where those corny apple ones or "#1 teacher" pins. But now they're back in. I bought a pretty one the other day. They just can't be too big or gaudy.
hi buddy! (its brooches)
see, that doesn't look right to me lol
Hi hun! ;)
i know. it looks totally wrong. english is mad confusing.
they're both correct. and both pronunciations are also correct. odd, eh?
very odd! my parents like to tell this story about a co we had who was from england and he used to correct his wifes pronounciation of everything using a dictionary he brought with him from england.
also, i was wondering about gaza again since it was in the watchtower lesson this week. the official pronouciation is ga'-za (long a) but all the news programs say ga-za (short a). i wonder why?
yeah, I say Gaza, but a bunch of people were saying Gayza. Haha, they're so gay.
what does the wt-lib say?
*gasp*
Gay-za
Gayzilla
I didn't even realize that on Sunday...pronunciation don't matter when you're fingerspelling in sign!
i thought this was only for clothing. Isn't this your clothing thread?
cant accessories by clothing? they are clothing ornaments. anyway, what are you? the thread nazi?
Yes it is...very astute. I'm gonna buy you a guitar brooch.
i luv brooches! they were SO big in the 80's. good thing i kept some of the ones i've owned. they're so fun!
