Ok - I finally found one that works - it's called Total Recorder v 4.5 - it's uploaded on the server in the "upload" folder. Program works perfectly. Anything on the internet, from now on, is mine....

really cheap sound-cards only have three jacks, I couldn't remember what combination of (line-in, line-out, speaker, microphone) it would be.
