The Verve are one of my favorite bands. every song on Urban Hymns is a classic.

I couldn't remember so I had to ask my wife. It was their cover of the theme to Tetris. (that's the one we walked out to) That band is so great. We saw them in concert not too long ago. at the Bowery, good show, but sadly they didn't play enough of their older stuff, which is so familiar to me. "Lorraine", "Natalie Portman" amazing songs. "Apple Trees" (I think thats the name of the song?)

thats where i saw them. them then saves the day then weezer. that show at continental airlines was like an assembly. witnesses from all over jersey (and beyond prolly).

yeah, I was there. but my wife was a fan of them for a while before we went to that show. And as soon as I heard their stuff I was hooked.

I love The Verve as well. And I follow Ashcroft's solo stuff 'til today. But, very different take than what the Symphony music video brought about. haha
