i was replying to brotherman, mike. he said "your wife gives you too much freedom". i didnt think that statement accurately reflected the husbands place as head.
btw- i dont think that the husband really "gives" the wife freedom either. if you apply scriptural principles, both husband and wife will look for the others needs/wants first and their own needs/wants second. honor and respect-thats what its all about.
