it's actually the most simple 'riff's' and rhythms that baffle me, not music that is overly technical.

The rhythm guitar in "stranger" baffles me, and it's really a simple riff, but it's really hard to get the same feeling and sound out if it because it's such a stuttered slurring country pick

and josh freese, the drummer, he's probably played in more bands then you know, and would probably be suprised at which ones (both studio and live)
