i signed a contract today for Oprah's bootcamp. (todd, please put away those pretzels.)
Oprah looks amazing. she has abs. i mean abs on oprah...i never thought i'd see it in my lifetime. if she can do it after all her failed diets-i can do it, too.
Also certain whites, like potatoes blanched flour, are empty carbs, they have very little, (if any) nutritional value. I use brown rice, whole wheat bread, flour, brown rice or whole wheat pasta... this is a little extreme for some. When we even eat potatoes, my family eats red skinned or sweet baked potatoes, not plain. At some point it was mentioned that there might be a possible link to cancer in an over consumption of certain "whites"...I dunno how much stock to put in this but, it can't hurt to be cautious :D
i get to eat my brown rice pasta and whole grain bread in one month i can't wait.
what do you get to eat now?
white chicken chili with white bread and white rice covered in other white foods.
lean meat, plenty of greens, cheese, nuts, 2 fruits a day
so you eat this for one month then you move on to the browns??
exactly, but i have no idea about sugar. i should try to eliminate it completely.
i sa oprah show on her diet screts etc and i think she said she doesn't eat anything with sugar in it. she uses splenda.
right. which isn't that big of a deal to switch over to. the stinky thing tho is like condiments and things like that-everything has sugar in it.
oh yeah. i've already lowered my intake of sugar to nothing over 5 grams of sugar in it per serving.....means i had to stay away from ketchup.
that is my ultimate sadness.
i was shocked to learn how much sugar it has in it. if you find an alternate and it tastes yummy, let me know and vice versa.
I had to google that for you:

Lemme know if it's good; I might switch too.
thanks. i use ketchup in a lot of things. this will be a small, but effective way for me to make a change.
