Matt Vaughn stepped down from directing X3! NOOOOO. An interesting name has popped up though. A decent one. Brett Ratner. Read the last three paragraphs of this thing. Lots of cool X3 story info. http://aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=20363
Whoah whoah..is this supposed to be the last x-men movie..if they're just going around and killing people off and taking away powers!?
I don't think so. Theres soooo many story possibilities and characters to use. It'd be retarded to stop it now. While trilogies are popular, I think X-Men will go on for a few movies.
not to mention alternate universes.
Exactly. Days Future Past, Age of Apocalypse, etc. Theres literally hundreds of VERY interesting avenues to take.
I know!! There are so many story lines that they could do without even leaving the comics/show.
Phoenix
The valley place..where no one's powers work
Apocolypse with his million story lines
Mr. Sinister!!!
The Phoenix saga is one I'm looking forward to. I think it'll be handled soon and I most definitely want a Mr. Sinister and the Marauders movie. That would be amazing. And CABLE'S STORY! That could be a trilogy on it's own!
Ahh Cable is awesome!
I hate the Pheonix saga..watching Jean Grey pass out right and left going "Scott!"
Who would you cast as Cable? I'd maybe pick a scarred up and much bulkier ED HARRIS! I dunno...
7'2" 387-pound Dalip Singh should play Cable:

I could kinda see that..
if THAT were cable I wouldn't even watch it!
I haven't seen The Longest Yard, so I don't know about his acting... but for Cable you're gonna need someone huge (just look at the drawings of Cable next to Wolverine. He makes Wolverine seem so small). This dude's huge.. I saw him on Late Night, and when you got talking about who to play Cable.. I immediately thought of this dude.
wolverine's small. he's supposed to be like 5 foot. they don't always show him that way in the comics and they didn't in the movie, but he is.
Anthony Hopkins?
