Page 1 of 3Saw a trailer for Thor and then I died.
here's some movie new for ya...x men origins sucked big time.
I'm looking forward to seeing the updated Grey Gardens.
oops anyone wanna fix that for me?
i saw a 'first look' on this... i will watch it. looks interesting.
saw it. not good.
bummer. not even worth a rental?
yes, worth a rental. drew was really good, i have to say.
State Of Play--HUGE Rach Mcadams fan she's gorgeous and talented.
I can't wait to see how the chemistry flowed with Crowe and Afleck, interesting cast, compelling plot :o)
just saw a preview for transformers 2. hope it's as good as the first one.
megan fox still looks unclean!! whooohoo!
wow "unclean" how biblical of you Dan.
Unclean? Huh? Strange lil man.
lil? huh? idiot
I'll break u Alex...
Unacceptable. He makes me chuckle occasionally.
He just won't have use of his legs. He can still use his mouth.
you'd have to get up to do that, dan.
When I get back into shape I'll get up and git you sucka! LOL... I'm fat now.
The previews for the movie Coraline are creeping me out. I'm beginning to wonder if that director is "touched".
i want to see that. stop-motion is a dying art.
i REALLY REALLY like the preview for that
i looove movies like this that remind me of little kamila and her crazy imagination
haha
oh my
yeap, I used third person.
HA! I love this ^^^^ woman
Paul Blart: MALL COP
Kevin James who I am married to, in a Happy Madison/Sandler production set in Jersey.
Did anyone pick up The Dark Knight yet??? It was awes in the theater!
It'd definitely be fun to screen w/ a group in house
:0)
I FINALLY FOUND Happily Never After! Stuffing face and watching NOW.
OH, my the stars really shine in THIS one! george carlin, andy dick, and freddy prinze jr! *lights self on fire*
Haha you fool! *Lights self on fire*, b-wha??? In any case I was fairly pleased. I'll always have a special spot for my lil' pimp, Wallace Shawn.
New Indiana Jones 4 trailer

EVERYONE...drop what you are doing and go see iron man!!! the movie is AMAZING! i dont care if robert downey jr's quipy dialoque is corney and gets irritating after a while, the action in this movie makes it so worth seeing. best action movie i've seen since transformers. this blows all of the other super hero movies away.
also, the new hulk movie actually looks really good (with edward norton as bruce banner), and the new preview for the dark knight is cool, i think that will be ridiculous as well.
i actually liked the quippy dialogue :)
Yeah, I was cracking up each time. Definitely is one of the best superhero movies yet.
Baby Mama was soooo funny!! One of the best movies I've seen in a while!
previews look pretty funny
the previews did not do this movie justice
the Hobbit movies get a very good director!
and there's two movies! one for the hobbit, and one new storyline between the hobbit and LOTR. kinda weird
What's the second one going to be about? Eating, drinking, and smoking pipes in the Shire?
while i do love guillermo and admit he's good at fantasy (see pan's labyrinth) it's kinda messed up that peter jackson isn't gonna do it. it' like they stole his final thunder.
he's producing it, so he's still involved.
and pan's labyrinth is rated R unfortunately
the hobbit movies will have the peter jackson touch. no doubt about it. del toro is using jackson's production and design companies and everything. they certainly want to retain the look and feel that made lotr so popular. the fans want quality uniformity in the beloved franchises movie productions AND it's the habit of studios and producers to go with what has worked in the past. so, it's safe to assume that if you liked the lotr trilogy, you'll love the hobbit movies.
um, yeah, i'll be seeing this... Hancock with Will Smith and Jason Bateman...
first look:
trailer:
I'm excited for GET SMART!
http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/getsmart/
me too!! My cat is named after him. (and I had another cat named 99 but no more.)
looks great! loved that show
Saw a trailer for 10,000 BC. Looks awesome!
Welcome to October 2007.
I don't get it. Please elaborate.
Haha... Meaning its been out for awhile.
From the director the Cell, Tarsem....
I love this guy's visuals. He's insane.
weeeeeiirrdd!!! kind of reminds me of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen a little... I would like to see this
what the heck! the black is supposed to be the explosives expert! lol. anyway, this looks pretty sweet...
First five minutes of Cloverfield. An original American monster movie that's taken place from a person's camera POV as he and his friends are escaping a HUGE monster attack in NYC. Can't wait to see this one.
Like Children of Men this movie is done with VERY long, VERY difficult pedestrian point of view camera shots. This means there are FEW stop points in the action. I love seeing really long track shots like this because I know they are incredibly hard to produce and require tremendous engineering and preperation. These shots IMMERSE you in the film rather than jerking you around omnisciently with different angles, cuts, and edits. From a technical standpoint this movie already blows me away.
so will we recognize the monster when we see it do you think, or is it going to be a new monster that they made up?
i haven't the foggiest. my guess is we won't recognize it. or it'll be some weird fusion of familiar monster elements.
weeeee

pretty sure i dated her

emile hirsch
john goodman
susan sarandon
christina ricci
and
matthew fox as RACER X [best casting ever]
oh i love matthew fox with the love of a thousand loves
this looks cool
camp and fun and cool
i LOOOOOVE emile hirsch! i cant wait!
It's got to be a real compliment to Nimoy that he was brought on board for this; then again filling Nimoy's shoes would've been difficult who better than the original!
holy crap. look at the cast of star trek. it's awesome.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0796366/
I must be more than the usual kind of exhausted =P I meant to reply down HERE, the cast does look pretty serious.
I'll always be more of a Next Generation(er) & Voyager loyalist but, the originals and variations there of these days seem to have a lot of potential. I am curious to see how this turns out and I actually wasn't even aware of this project 'til you mentioned it =D
August Rush_ AMAZING!
Definitely would recommend, overall great film! Ending, ummmm a little lacking =(
Keri Russell is a favorite of mine but, I think she genuinely rocked this role!
aw i really want to see this :) i'm glad it's well received
*GAG*
oh come on! it's Keri Russel!! And that adorable little kid from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Finding Neverland?!?
this looks like one of those made for tv movies, but with a lower budget.
this looks hysterical. i love michel gondry!!
http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/bekindrewind/
i'm a huge Gondry fan too, but i know this WILL NOT be his best work. his NEXT movie, Master of Space and Time, should be much more interesting and visually pleasing. i mean, what's visually pleasing about Jack Black and Mos Def in crappy ghostbuster costumes?
i think this movie looks awesome.
i agree. jack black is pretty funny. and the movie inventions looks so cute and different. totally cheap.
freakishly awesome book (Master of Space and Time)
i heard about this a while back... looks like it might be funny
awww, i want to see this. looks cute.
http://www.foxsearchlight.com/juno/
hahah. looks so cute.
"your parents are probably looking for you"
"naw. i'm already pregnant. what other shenninigans can i get into?"
hahahah ah ah aha
oh sweet. love the style. i want to see this now.
exactly. the style seems fun and fresh. i like mike cera.
awww i want to see this!!! i love jen garner!
iron man. blink.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/ironman/medium_trailer.html
This looks sooo funny. John C. Reilly, Will Ferrel, Tim Robins, etc. It makes fun of Walk The Line.
i love how it's a beautifully executed spoof. it looks AS good and AS glossy as all those biopics that have been coming out.
don't like KK <3 MP: http://buzzsugar.com/547169
i cannot wait for this movie. i love the way wes anderson movies flow. doesn't hurt that his usual collaboraters are the wilson brothers. and added bonus on this one: adrien brody. i love him. good times to come.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/thedarjeelinglimited/trailerb/
oh I'm in love with it! But I wish Bill Murray was in it. I love him.
i smell a cameo
i love Wes Anderson, but uh-oh. he's starting to meander too much for my taste. Anderson's flicks never have plots, by definition, but hopefully there will be a coherant enough story to enjoy. Not just a buncha fun scenic camera set-ups coupled with cluttered vintage set designs and quirky delivery of ironic dialogue. i guess this is Wes Anderson's "road-trip" film and love letter to India. fine and dandy. lets just hope it pays off story-wise.
track record: Bottle Rocket was good. Rushmore was great. The Royal Tenenbaums was perfect. The Life Aquatic was a fun step in the wrong direction. Lets see how The Darjeeling Limited shapes up...
aside: hm, The Life Aquatic's theatrical poster has the same color scheme this one has
ah, i love owen wilson. kind of funny he's playing a guy with a broken nose
beautiful! can't wait for the edited for TV version :/
HA!! YESS!!
VENICE, Italy - Bill Murray says he was just dropping people after a party when he was stopped in downtown Stockholm driving a golf cart.
The police "asked me to come over and they assumed that I was drunk and I explained to them that I was a golfer," Murray told reporters Monday at the Venice Film Festival, where he appeared before the premiere of his new film "The Darjeeling Limited," which also stars Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman and Owen Wilson.
like i said. cameo.
yep yep. good call
so anyway, they were filming parts of Tropic Thunder, a movie with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Robert Downy Jr, and Nick Nolte at the hotel we were at.
i even snuck on set while they were filming a "party scene" and blended in with the extras for a few takes. i think i got on frame a few times, so maybe you'll be able to see me!
haha, so awesome! grats! I always knew you'd be a movie star.
So, who's better looking? Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Robert Downy Jr, or Nick Nolte?
well... nick nolte looks like a homeless person, ben stiller is so skinny now he looks like a heroin addict, jack black has zero muscle tone and is a fatso (plus the bleached blonde flattop isn't his look), owen wilson wasn't there because he wasn't filming those weeks... so i'll give it to robert downy jr.
Speaking of Owen Wilson... I read he tried to commit suicide.
what a sweet cast. the extended cast is even good. lots of good big names and lots of good smaller names too. AND it was written by one of the Coens? i'm there.
owen wilson dropped out of this
Cuz of the suicide attempt.
that would be correct
that sucks so bad.
super lame

wow... that looks awesome
bourne: where are you?
guy: i'm in my office
bourne: i doubt that very much. if you were in your office we'd be having this meeting face to face right now
I can't wait for this movie. Over the weekend, we rented The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy to prepare. haha
This comes out August 3rd. Can't wait!
All due out in August:

Blind instructorYou squish lucky cricket???
StudentNo, nooooo. *wipes hand on news paper*
What part of sudden death didn't you understand? Haha!
This better be PG13
Just saw the movie BREACH w/ Ryan Phillipe. It's based on a true story about the biggest security breach in US history. Happened in 2001. Not a bad movie. Kinda weak, but still pretty entertaining.
(It's out for rent right now, not in theatres)
yeah me and matt watched this the other night. it is interesting, but definitely slow moving. especially for an fbi movie.
that's how i felt about it too. it wasn't bad, but i was kind of expecting more action.
spike jonze and dave eggers did the screenplay-it's gotta be good: http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2007/06/21/first-look-where-the-wild-things-are/
glad this thing got off the ground with that creative team in place. i'm so there.
dave eggers hasn't done much in the film industry yet. he's probably VERY picky.
that was one of my very favorite books as a little boy
yeah, good times. loved that book
i liked the book, but it's kind of dumb when you think about it. the book has no moral, or lesson. the stupid kid is a little brat, so he gets sent to his room where he falls asleep, has a weird dream about monsters in some far away land, then he wakes up and he is still a little brat.
...but the illustrations are cool.
You didn't tell everyone that you are playing the role of the "brat"?
so you learned a lot from this book i see
aaah shadap!
i don't remember reading any of his other books. he seems to have done more illustrating than writing.
The New Bat Vehicle. The Batpod. Hehe. I don't know...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465234/trailers-screenplay-E32943-10-2
cool, national treasure 2. i liked the first one even though it's disney and had a slight cheese factor. i like these historical conspiracy movies with typical plots
this looks entertaining
New Batman Costume. Looky techy. Dark Knight is a year off still...

heman is coming: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117965714.html?categoryid=13&cs=1
i dunno if i'm liking this, but maybe it can be good. it seems like all these movie makers are cashing in on 80's nostalgia
yeah totally
I watched He-Man in Poland! This i'm excited about haha
yeah i used to watch this too, but if they get the right person to play he-man it might work.
Borrowed Daredevil finally, could never bring myself to see it before. Gonna go watch ;)
People bashed it, but I thought it was ok. It's not a great movie, but ok. Certainly demolishes the Hulk.
I think you might just have low standards for movies.
Cmon...U didn't like the paper clip death scene! LOL!
Interesting news on the ALL-NEW Incredible Hulk movie. So far I like the direction their going in. Now, I DON'T trust that coke-addled french director their using though. He did the Transporter movies. That's all I need to say.
http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/04/20/the-new-incredible-hulk-is-not-green-hes-grey/
they're
yeah yeah yeah
saw blades of glory the other night, very stupid-funny light comedy
would mike schiano love it?
do you guys have that thing where if one of you hates it the other one likes it?
i dunno, probably... it's hilarious
Yeah I was disappointed, didn't even wanna mention it =(
really? what were you expecting? i loved that it didn't turn into an adam sandler movie and get all sappy, just nonstop stupidity from beginning to end.
everyone in theater applauded at the end
It wasn't terrible. I don't care for sappy movies actually. I just expected to bust my sides laughing so for me it was hit & miss. A few good laughs but, nothing (on my end) to rave about.
Saw it this past weekend... very funny... if you want a movie just to sit back and laugh at, I recommend this one...
2 new transformers ads
http://www.filmwad.com/2-new-transformers-tv-spots--2046-p.html
im SO excited about this movie you dont even understand!
I understand, I really do!!!!
Please please please girls DRAAAAAAG your guys to see this movie it's so adorable. If he doesn't get anymore out of it than a low chuckle and an appreciative glance at Haley Bennett as "Cora Corman" EVERYONE will have this song stuck in their head:
To be honest (as usual), I could TOTALLY imagine certain ezabelers cast in this video lol! You are gold and silvaaaah!
Blades of Glory
so ready for this movie, at the movies the other day they were handing out posters

this movie looks so funny! when's it come out?
the 30th of this month
the writers pitching this movie probably said: "Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as FIGURE SKATERS! Need we say more?"
This Movie Interests Me.
I've been kinda waiting for a heady sci-fi eye candy movie that isn't geared towards teens.
http://www.sunshinedna.com/videos/21
Okay I think it's really creepy that I came in here to post about wanting to see THIS EXACT SAME MOVIE...I already had it in my outlook I SWEAR! Primarily
because of Cillian Murphy I think he has promise as an actor.
that looks cool
I LOVE Cilian Murphy
I like the director and the premise. Cillian is a bonus. He's usually above average. Their still using that temp score in the trailers. It's totally from another movie. I just don't remember which. I really love it though. I'd like to find out what movie it's from so I can cop it.
Queen definitely want to see The Queen look pretty classy.
'looks'
I don't know if I like this or hate this. I do know it's visually stunning. I'm an unapologetic beatles anti-fan, but they use the couple beatles songs I actually don't hate in the promo, so I'm not turned off all the way. I like the visuals. We'll see.
Across the Universe. Looks pretty good.
http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=1552760&sdm=web&qtw=480&qth=300
Why would they make this? hahaa
The F. Scott Fitzgerald short story "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is being made into a film. Filming since November actually I think. "Without warning, a 50-year-old man (Pitt) begins to age backwards, progressively growing younger. As he begins to regain his youth, the man starts to fall in love with a 30-year-old woman. (Blanchett) The question thus looms: how can they have a future together if he continues to grow younger and she older with every year that passes?"
good call, my son. this is david fincher's next film after zodiac. fincher is one of the most amazing directors working today. i've been listening to these readings of the original story in prep:
http://thoughtaudio.com/titlelist/0005-fscott/index.html
FINCHER!! ::drool::
awww i love f. scott fitzgerald. this side of paradise is one of my favorite books! but i've never read this one. i must get on it.
Two movies I'm really excited about:
Stardust: http://imdb.com/title/tt0486655/
Bridge to Terabitihia: http://imdb.com/title/tt0398808/
I remember the "bridge" book was one of my brother's favorites when we were little.
but it's so sad. i used to love it but then i just had to read up to a certain point or i'd cry. i wanna see the movie because graphically it looks awesome but the ending man....the ending.
I don't think I ever read it, or finished reading it. I had a theory when I was younger (and which has been continuously proven as an adult) that my brother's opinions are always wrong. So if he enjoyed something, I stayed away from it.
i have that with luke. whenever i like a movie he hates it and when he likes it, i hate it. so generally we just wait until the other person has seen it because both of us seeing it would be pointless.
Hahaha - but Luke's not your brother!
our school assigned it for reading class one year. melody cried at the end and she never cries especially not for books.
I always remember bridge as an amazing book! Julie's right, it's very sad but it's still awesome.
