Can't get a break, folks. I was hauling a really heavy package. The package was reinforced with this nylon type strapping. We're taught to never pull a package by the strapping. Ever. WELLLLL, I'm pulling it along by the straps and one of the straps breaks and my fist comes back and whacks me SUPER HARD in the mouth! I'm talking "gotta check if your teeth are still there" hard. I check and come back with more than the usual amount of the blood on my fingers. I go to a mirror and my lip has several deep cuts in it from my teeth AND also my knuckle has a cut from my front tooth. Lips all clotted up now and not so swollen, but I'll have a nice big red and blue lip for when I read at tonight's book study. Totally wrecked myself. Beauty! Radiohead said it best in thier song "Just."
