ever order an espresso at Starbucks? they give u this 12oz cup with like two spitfulls of coffee in it...i was like 'hey where's the rest?'
no i rarely ever go to starbucks. maybe like 4 times in my life.
espresso is supposed to be a small amount...especially if it's real italian espresso which is so strong it can make your teeth fall out
hmm i've had true french expresso . extremely bitter and powerful. it's like guiness but 10x times the taste. usually have half a cup... and i'm wired for hours. and then i crash . HARD.
doesn't make me wired...i must be accustomed to the taste. i had a cup after every dinner in italy.
man! i love the italianess! hahah...but its so true...you totally get used to the taste...i'm not especially fond of it still...but it doesnt gross me out....especially if there is some Annisset in it! yummy (ya know the Italian liquor that tastes like black liquorish)
mmm yea....saturday night i went to Ferrara in little italy and had an espresso and some of my friends had almond flavored capuccino that was SO good. i love making anise pizelles and also biscotti!
