Tattoos.Yum.Addicting.Forver.Love

superhero Jul 1, 2005

and how, exactly, are tatoos different from piercings?

tesoro Jul 4, 2005

that's simple. tats are permanent.

superhero Jul 5, 2005

ok, uhm, tattoos can be removed. it's expensive but it can be done. a piercing will always leave a scar (unless you get THAT removed)

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

haha, yes, that's true, tat's ARE removable. but how much easier is it to take out a ring, than spend a few grand to remove a tat. (plus ppl. have scars all over their body...what's the prob. with a scar?)

this is what i think. if you have a big, obvious tat or a facial piercing...you are going for the reaction b/c you want to look rebellious...worldly, whatever.

if you have something inconspicuous where no one can see it...it's your own conscience. i feel more strongly against tats because of the permanency of them.

personally, i am not against belly piercings...that is something a lot of people dont get offended by, and if you have an inkling that someone will....you just take it out for the day at the beach. if you have a privilege of service, i do think your standard should be higher, because you are scrutinized more so. i know quite a few pioneers with belly piercings, that just keep theirs covered. and like everyone was talking about the other day, different areas definatly feel more or less strongly about things.

that's my deal, this is something everyone has to come to their own conclusion about...

i only disagree with belly button piercings if the person who has it has a big fat belly. i'm not saying everybody has to be in perfect shape, but why draw more attention to it??

specialk specialkOG 2003

Hahahaha.....I couldn't agree with you more on this. :)

reaf reafOG 2002

oh before I forget, There is a salon called Kokapeli by me and as soon as i read it he came into my head , I was like what are the chances. cause on there sign out front they have him.

reaf reafOG 2002

ha ha, I agree with that completly matt.

Personally I think peircings are worse than tats.
Tats are a peice of art. (depeaning on how it is done of course)
Peircings just look dirty.
Tounge rings, Gross
Belly button rings flashy and for what ever reason draws a sex appeal, even though it's not
Facial pericings just silly

Word homeslice..

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

hahahhaa, so true...nothing worse then a big fat belly, with a big fat dangly object hanging from it.

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

nice, all the married women agree with me :)

but seriously... look at my big fat belly! i'm accentuating it by wearing a cutoff shirt and a piece of jewlery. everybody look!

specialk specialkOG 2003

Yes there is....picture that, but in spandex.....SHINY spandex, no less. Ugh.

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

ugh, nice image.

shiny gold spandex, barely covering big old cottage cheesy legs, a WWF tee tied around the neck to reveal a big old flabby belly with a dangly ring

specialk specialkOG 2003

And a mullet....you forgot about the mullet. :)

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

dyed bright orange!

specialk specialkOG 2003

But not completely orange....there has to be some leftover platinum blonde in there from when she last had it dyed.

Two-tone haircolor is SO hot these days. Like a tiger.....grrrrrrr.....

beachbum beachbumOG 2002

add the fat spilling over the spandex and you've just described most of keansburg

And Northern Kentucky/some of Cincinnati/all of Hamilton.

I love Ohio.
