I often say "close the light" instead of "turn off the light"
and sometimes I say "turn off the door"

weeeeird, i say close the light too. i was gonna put that in here but i didnt think it was worthy of being weird enough
i never say turn off the door though
yeah i think i've only said the door thing like, once, when i was very confused. But yeah lights get closed. Not turned off.
And they get opened.
i do the same thing...."open or close the light" i do sometimes say "shut the light" instead of "shut the light OFF". I dont really know if that's odd, but people here make fun of me for it.
Oh my, this is different but, it sounds kind of cute...Maybe I'd have to hear you guys actually say it.
