I thought the movie was awesome but again- lack of black smoke? I don't understand why they wouldn't put that in. I think that's even more terrifying then the heat ray.

There were some discrepencies but I think a lot of them can be attributed to the fact that they did the movie in 2000 not 1900 when it's supposed to take place.

Also, the fact that the machines were already here? That's one of those things that makes me angry because I don't understand the point of changing something like that. I mean- maybe to get the aliens up and moving instantly?

THe fact that the aliens went down in the basement was also annoying. Another one of those- why have that things. The aliens had trouble moving because of the gravity..they -needed- the tripods!!

Though, as much as I'm having stuff to complain about I really did like the movie.
