i do like the second one better, as far as looks, but the first one looks more comfy & inviting. the second one looks a bit hard.

The first one looks a little too 80's for me. You can always soften up black leather with light pillows.

haha, true. i thought the first one looked sort of worn as well. but i'd have to check em out in person, and see what the husband thinks. (he has at least SOME say, haha)
