We rented and watched this yesterday - we both agreed it was very cool. There have been so many crappy, generic and/or remade movies lately, it was so nice to watch something very unique. The art was fantastic; you could defintely see how the creators originally envisioned it as a comic. I also loved the whole mother-daughter relationship, and how Helena's mother was both the Dark Queen and the White Queen, because that's how so many girls feel about their mothers. I wonder if boys were able to enjoy it on the same level.
