SOLD!
wow....me, too, I think.
Just when I thought Nintendo was dead.
after gamecube i thought nintendo was dead. i really did. guess what? i will be buying a revolution.
gamecube is awesome. so many great games. they just lost a lot of the 3rd party support..
Take a look the DS, and all the crazy inventive games that are coming out for it because of the unique controls it allows with the touch screen.
LOTS of developers are excited about the revolution, because of the new controller. There's been some really cool ideas floating around about what can be done with it.
Nintendo president said last week in an interview that their system is about fun games, and having fun. This direction is CLEAR on the DS, which is just crazy fun. Can't wait to see what they come up with for the revolution.
Oh, and the Revolution will also cost less than $300. Rumors are that it will cost $199.... we'll see!
You're going to see a pretty clear difference between the 360 & PS3 and the Revolution. Nintendo is focusing purely on games; the system won't even have HD support. They say the graphics are good enough on a standard def TV, which most people have anyway. The 360 & PS3 are all about centralizing media and entertainment all into one box in the living room, like a hub. They're very all encompassing, which is a big contrast to Nintendo's ideas.
Will be interesting to see how it pans out.
once more. sold.
what made you think nintendo was dead?
cause it sucks. And so does it's games.
Except for Zelda. And Metroid. But I never liked the controls of Metroid Prime.
what! the gamecube is awesome.
it sold 20 million consoles (very close to the xbox), and has plenty of awesome games. nintendo is very good at making a profit, and they've done so with the gamecube, gameboy, and ds. on the other hand, microsoft still hasn't made a profit on the xbox...
I didn't get to play many of Nintendo's most recent games, but they seem so gay. I think they've been running on Brand-name Hype for years.
I never understood why anyone bought one--except possibly to play Zelda or Metroid. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance to experience quality titles. *shrug*. oh, and Mario is dead to me.
But THIS, this looks like it has potential!
