You doing Ruby on Rails stuff?
well I wrote that one app for where I work, and been maintaining it and writing some webservices on top of it for interoperability with something else(its all very hush-hush). It's been in limbo since they keep changing databases for it (mainly waiting for them to get database up and ready for integration testing). Maybe you'll see it soon, I'll tell you what it is when they release it.
And I've been dabbling a little bit on my own. its really really nice for DB-centric apps. And I'm trying to learn Ruby better, its a lovely language.
...sort of like french, the whole lovely language thing
ooh ooh, is it this??? http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/04/vonage-prepping-voip-solutions-for-ds-and-psp/
heh. no. thats the first I heard of that.
Basically you're just running a softphone on a WIFI device. same deal as our WIFI-Phone.
But I did hear on some non-Corporate Vonage site(so its safe for me to say), that we were opening up our SIP credentials, so that you could use any softphone and even have it use the same info as your home device. that way your home number would ring your WIFI phone/softphone. that's interesting news. basically a free softphone.
