I don't know what it is about planting vegetables that makes it so exciting. I just put my peat pots outside yesterday to see how they would hold up. I think I broke one of my broccolli

it's exciting i think because you're creating LIFE!!! and they're not just plants they are FOOD. So yeah that's exciting! haha

i think you are right. it's like you don't really have to do much work, but you are so proud of yourself when they grow! like having babies.
