not if you don't have some sort of charging mechanism ... remember europe has different plugs ... I'd also make sure you keep a close eye on it, it's a target for theives dan's suggestion of ...

All iPod chargers are universal 100-250v 50-60blah blah blah.. so all you really need is the plug changer (hard to find there, easy here) OR a car charger would suffice, YOU'll have a blast!

I did a road trip thru Italy a couple of years ago, each of us would take turns being DJ. Good times, Good times!
