It can't be Marrow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marrow_(comics). Marrow's a girl.

I heard he was Spike. Or Quill (I don't think he was Quill, though).

Here's what I don't get.....the guy with the face spikes is on imdb as Kid Omega.....but if you look at some of the quotes from "Spike" in the movie, they are the ones that the "Kid Omega" guy said. And the guy who played Spike is credited as a totally different guy (someone named Lance Gibson)

Look:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0504962/

Spike: [to Magneto] You talk pretty tough for a guy in a cape.
John Allerdyce: [ignites a fireball] Back off.
Callisto: You're so proud of being a mutant, where's your mark?
Eric Lensherr: I have been marked once, my dear and let me assure you, no needle shall ever touch my skin again.
John Allerdyce: Do you know who you're talking to?
Spike: [spikes protrude from his face] Do you?

They actually originally changed the sex for the x-men cartoon that cartoon network recently had.
