They won't let you see if they have bands before you join?

no, you can see. click on "about emusic" on the bottom of the page then you can search music.

Yeah, I just saw that. Sorry! They have the dismemberment plan, which I want, but they don't have strung out. What's up with that? I'd rather download strung out and buy the dis plan because ...

well you can just download dismemberment plan on your free trial and then cancel :)

Hahaha - no, they're a smaller band, so I want to actually buy the CD to support them and their label. I just hate that I have to order the CD and wait for it to come, then rip it to my mp3 player... I'm too lazy now that I've been downloading everything.

Well, emusic is legit. It's not torrented. Money does go to the label and band from downloads. It's just like buying it at the store.

I do miss buying physical CDs. Nothing like jewel case with killer art to hold and look at and read inserts. Yes, you can put your own together, but it's not the same. But, I only can afford mp3s now.

i know. it bugs me to pay for music i dont get the actual cd for. but it beats spending a ton on cds.
