for some reason, no matter where i work, people eventually just start calling me by my last name. I've determined this is because my last name Copus (Koh puhss) is much more fun to say the Jeff ...

Same here. In high school AND work. Valentine, Valentino, etc. It doesn't bother me.

yeah, i went almost exclusivly by my last name in high school, but never expected it to continue on into the business world, not that i mind, because i kind of like it
