Hellooooooooooooooo Ezabel!!! Greetings from Arizona!!!! :)
Hey! I was beginning to think you succumbed to the heat.
Haven't melted yet. It's actually kinda humid here, surprisingly. It's the "monsoon" season here, meaning they get rain off and on for a few weeks or so. Except the humidity here is like, 30%, instead of the normal 80% I'm used to back east.
It's been hectic getting set up too. We were at the bookstudy Tuesday night when a HUGE storm hit, and the power went out. We were on our way back to Adam's parent's house, and got caught between a couple of power lines that had JUST been knocked down (yes, a very scary thing).
We didn't have power that night at the house we were staying at, so we all had to crash on Adam's parent's couch. Very fun. We just got power back last night, so at least we have air conditioning again, hahaha.
The drive out was pretty uneventful, except that Tyler lost his second tooth in Oklahoma. Pretty neat.
Oh, and we don't really have a home of our own yet, and we were pretty concerned about where we were gonna live, and how long we were gonna have to crowd Adam's parents by having to stay with them. That is, until a brother and sister in the hall out here decided to move, and told Adam's parents they would rent their place to us for an AMAZINGLY low price....so low, that there literally is nothing in this area for the amount they want to rent it to us for. SOOO AFFORDABLE. I keep reminding Adam about that whole "putting it in Jehovah's hands" thing. It seems to be working well for us. :)
HI LADY!!!! so howzit in the desert??
Not bad. It's just barely creeped past 100 since we got here Monday night. Still manageable! :)
Oh, and the $1.5 million dollar home we're staying in until Adam's parent's finish their guest room, is QUITE liveable.....especially since the owner's (friends of Adam's dad) only live in it about 3 weeks out of the year. SCORE!!!!
