Ok so listen to this: a sister in my hall was studying with this couple. actually it is a pretty cool story. its kinda long so i won't really get into it now, but the girl's dog died. she loves...

That's pretty crazy - the truth obviously wasn't in their hearts in the first place.

I had a talk about that recently, how animals don't have souls and won't be resurrected (it was from the reasoning book). It's funny that this was such a soft spot for the couple, because as I was writing it, I remember thinking how silly it was that people could be so attached to their pets. But I guess I'm just callous like that. :P

i'm not a huge animal person, at all, so i don't understand it. sure i have had pets and was sad when they died, but i didn't give up the truth because they won't be resurrected. i dont' know, i just thought i was being mean. but the guy that was studying, man, he completely changed his life. it was awesome. he got arrested and put in jail for drugs and he continued to study in jail and completely changed his life and everything. he loved studying and wanted to get baptized. sad that they are stumbled because of a dog.

Hahahaha - I know, the name of the talk was "Do animals have souls?" or something like that.
