so my worst nightmare came true friday night. i was meeting some friends at this restaurant/bar in downtown fullerton. anyway i was the last to arrive and as i'm getting to walk in through the patio to get to my friends, i see they're all staring at me and have the weirdest expressions no their face....so i'm looking around and i notice to my left there was a table full of midgets. OMG i practically ran when one of them got up. my friends could not stop laughing. midgets SCARE me. :(

We had a deal that I would come in once a week and work 530 - 9 for her and she would give me chiropractic treatment. Which is worth it for me, we are just trading services. So now all of the sudden she is tallying up the number of hours that I worked and is paying me 10.00/hr and taking it off my bill(she charges like 100 per visit because she bills my insurance too)...which isn't worth my time at all....She originally wanted me to quit my job and go work for her and she was going to pay me less and not give me any vaca or sick time plus have to work nights and weekends. CRAZY WOMAN!!! So I told her that it's not resonable for me to quit my job and work for less, and that it was a step down. And this was her response "So what are you trying to tell me?" AHHH!!!!

Hey Ian, how is Mikayla doing?
Her knee is feeling better each day, but it's still very sore, and she's still limping a little. The worst part is that she's so scared of it coming out again that she has no confidence even when walking normally. Stairs are the worst. :/ She is improving every day tho.
The doctor recommended surgery, as physical therapy won't really help her at this point. :(
Aww, that sucks. Well, if she would get the surgery now she would avoid alot of problems when she's older though. And she wouldn't ever have to worry about it again right? Tell her I was thinking about her and hopes she feels better.
As a person who has had a knee operated on (thanks to a friendly football game amongst brothers), it is worth getting it fixed. Had I not gotten it done, I wouldn't be as active as I am now. But...I fear when I am older it will have issues since I can hear it crack everytime I move it. So unfortunately they can't fix your joints perfectly, but at least she can enjoy good mobility while she is young if she gets it done. And hopefully the new system will be here before we get old.
yeah, she young now, so surgery would be better sooner than later.
but.. the doctor gave her two options. the first would be to fix the ligaments that hold her kneecap in place, since they're out of whack now. that would help a lot. but the real problem is just the way her leg is made. her shin is a bit out of place, which causes the problem.
so, the other surgery would be to actually move the bone of her lower leg. O_O this is a major surgery and would take a lot longer to recover. and it has a chance of weakening the bone.
but she can always just have the ligaments fixed and see how that goes, and have the major surgery done at a later time. it's a tough decision. she doesn't want any surgery at all... but it's kinda like her only choice at this point.

I've seen several friends get their wisdom teeth out..my face is like a million times more swollen than any I've ever seen. I don't simply have chipmunk cheeks..my entire face is at least 4x larger than it usually is.

My teeth are in a terrible state themselves. Have lacked going to the dentist yet. He'd probably go all angry like the Seinfeld where his mechanic gets all mad at him because he didn't take care of his car.
Be glad you got them out....I waited until one of mine got infected, then got them out. Unfortunately, the infection had, by that time, spread to the lymph node WAY under the tooth, causing it to be chronically infected, and also having the same effect on the two lymph nodes closest to the original "node." Long story short, (but not really), 5 years after getting my wisdom teeth out, and countless trips to the doctor to find out what was wrong, AND countless antibiotics and steroids I was put on to try and kill the stupid infection (not to mention the pain it caused me...all the time)....I had to have surgery to have all 3 lymph nodes removed....
So be glad you got them out, even if there's some swelling. I'd hate for it to cause you pain later on. Besides, I'm sure you still look beautiful. :)

Yeah I know....the worst part was that the last surgery wasn't dental work...it was "knock you out under anesthesia, take them suckers out through a crease we cut in your neck" surgery. Double ew.
The scar is virtually invisible, though, and it's only been a year and a half. Good doctor, hahaha.

I'm so bummed. Our guinea pig has infections in both of her back paws; Don was clipping her nails last night and noticed them. She's going to the vet today at 3, but Donovan also noticed that she's got very telling buldges around her tummy, like maybe ovarian cysts. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the vet says, but Donovan feels like a negligent parent for not noticing sooner.

okay... i love the heat, i actually love it outside.. and this morning i was low on gas and I drove with the windows open for like a half hour - i loved it
but after a while it does get crazily hot!
yesterday i was in my garden for seriously.. 15-20 minutes.. and my hands were gloved and covered in dirt, so i couldn't wipe the sweat off my face, so i just shook the sweat off like a wet dog!! and it was just flying off my face!! i know!! gross!!!
and today in stone harbor i had a beach photo shoot.. at 9 a.m, which i was hoping wouldnt' be THAT HOT yet. I was SO sweaty when we were done, my face was the reddest ever, and my entire shirt was totally soaked, and i felt really stupid to be that sweaty!! haha
i forgot to add after i was dying of heat in the backyard yesterday i finaly turned on the sprinkler and just stood in it, in shorts and a shirt. I just wanted nothing else in life at that moment other than cold water, all over me. That ... NEVER happens. I hate cold water. So yeah, it was hot.
