i remember when i was little and our dog died i was extremely upset that it won't be resurrected i still kind of get upset about that.. when my cats go i'm gonna be really upset, i know it :(

well i think its normal to be upset about it. it is very sad when they die.

my two cats are about 9 years old, they have been a part of my life longer than my husband and most of my friends, so yeah there is definitely an attachment there

even the little birds dying last year, it was so upsetting i remember we missed a meeting because i couldn't stop crying over the baby birds
