question: when my sister-in-law gets married, would her husband be my brother-in-law? or would it just be my sister-in-law's husband?
brother-in-law through marriage, maybe?
the only way to have a bro/sis in law is through marriage.
haha, yeah, i guess you're right
i'd call him my step brother in law. like he is a brother in law but its like there is a lil connection missing. so just through in the step. i call my sisters mother in law my step mother in law. or if ya wanna just show how close you guys would be ya could just say brother in law and leave it at that. cuz you all are family now.
well, she's really not getting married, it was kind of a hypothetical question...i just never get how those sort of things work...like "my second cousin twice removed" i have no idea what that means.
oh man this is awesome. thanks!
I've always just said brother in law....it's easier, for one. And it doesn't make him feel excluded, like he's sort of family, but not quite, hahaha.
sister-in-law's husband. The in-law relation only works for one linking person, if you know what I mean.
