ugh, is it time for bed yet? started cooking for the pioneer school at 6:30 this morning, dropped off the food and went to work. I went in b/c I knew we had a camp coming and they needed help. i hate big groups but whatever, no big deal. I get there and there are a few people hanging out and i say hi but they give me a strange look. more people show up and they have this certain look to them, some are walking funny even. then i spot about 3 or 4 people with down syndrome and it dawns on me-it's the physically & mentally handicapped camp. i knew i was in for a very long morning. they were funny, but i'm as exhausted as i would have been if i took 5 normal trips down the river (they can't really paddle which means I have to haul butt or end up on rocks or in the hudson). moral of the story: know exactly what you are volunteering to do.
did i do better then them?
um, not really.
OWNED
HAHAHAHA awww did mikey use his little helmet river rafting too?
i was the one that held the whole raft on the river... janine wussed out and jumped ship and i had to command the crew. Yes, i paddled long and hard... i had to use janine as a paddle... I saved everyone from a certain death!
as i recall, I had to pull YOU back into the raft, muscles.
but i got to yell at you more, so that was fun.
