Page 1 of 6haha Paris Hilton's album is considered a failure selling only 75,000 copies (as opposed to say, Xtina selling 320,000 copies in its first week)
and the best comment ever: The only way I would ever listen to a Paris Hilton song is if I was poisoned and the ingredients to the antidote were hidden in her lyrics.
THANK GOODNESS!!! I was SO hoping she would not sell I hope its enough for her to stop making "music"
PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE HAS A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION BY ELVIS PRESLEY IN MP3? I HAVE IT ON ITUNES BUT I TOTALLY FORGOT I CAN NOT USE THAT FOR WHAT I NEED IT FOR. ANYONE?
So why on earth is that couple getting recognition for taken a photo of the wifes pregnancy, every 2 or 3 days, PLEASE, so many people do that. I want to do a video diary every day or other day i hope i get recognition like that. I will have to post it all over the internet. haha.
So, Tyler wants to learn how to play the guitar, and we totally want to let him. What is a good guitar to start a 7-year old out on?
depends. Electric is easier to play, because the strings are easy to press to the neck, but you need to buy an amp, and you may be driven crazy until he actually knows what he's doing.
Accoustics are good, but you can't really buy a "good" and "cheap" one.
My first electric guitar was (is--I love it to peices, it's amazing, yet cheap) the Ibanez Iceman 120.

It should be around $250, but they don't make them anymore, I think, so you'll have to look at local stores--call around. Or keep searching the net.
Awwww you guys are such awesome parents! I was trying to learn for a while a friend said they would teach me but never made good on it *cough BUM cough *
Anywayze my aunt knows how to so she's teaching me ROX!!!!
anyone else form a love for the bazooka gum song?
i touched a pigeon this weekend
we were at the convention in jersey city, you know, there's like eight million pigeons around Journal Square
well i reached out my hand and touched one of them
it was cool haha
ewwww wash your hands!!!
If anyone wants a nice couch with a pullout bed and a queen size mattress with box spring at a discount price, let me know. I can't fit them in my apartment and it's not worth it to pay for storage for them. I'll even deliver them to your house.
Message me if interested.
Don't you hate when you have a friend who really needs you, and you SO want to be there and give them a hug, but they live across the country and can't afford a last minute flight out? I hate that. I wish I could fly her out here. :(
oh yeah def....esp when its your best friend. omg i've been in that situation SO many times....UGH. i'm so sorry :(
It's so tough because she lives in Florida, and doesn't have a great relationship with her parents, and her boyfriend and his family were basically her family, and they were pretty much all she had. Well, he's a stupid-head and broke up with her last week, and she's devastated, and with the hurricane coming literally RIGHT into her part of town, she's freaking out. She wants to come out here so bad, and I found a flight here tomorrow, but, I don't know if she'll take it, because of money concerns. I wish I had billions of dollards to fly my friends and family anywhere they wanted when they needed it. Hahahah.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

RING RING RING RING RING RING RING BANANAPHONE!
i bet you had to actually listen to that song again to get how many times they say "ring." i hate that.
LIVY!!!!! THANK YOU!!!
If I got paid through paypal and I see it in my paypal account, is it safe to ship to the person? Or should I wait till it's actually transferred to my banking account?
no, way till its in your bank account
They can still take the money back even if you've transferred it to your bank account. Paypal will just take it right back out if there's not enough in your account.
I just ship when I see the money in Paypal...
thats why as soon as it clears you transfer it to another non touchable paypal account like a savings... They will and can take your money and not refund it, seller beware
Hmm I guess maybe ill wait until I at least see it in my checkings then withdraw it or something, im not sure what to do really :\
well it also depends how well you trust the seller? is it just some random ebay purchase? can someone vouch for the buyer, is it a large sum of money?
Well they didn't respond quickly at first, they are about at 75%, and it's a 200 dollar item. Sooo yeah that's kinda why I'm even asking, if it was 100%, I would have sent already
YUMMY COLORS
those ovens are awesome
I know i love them if they werent a billion dollars a door.
really? they never say how much they are on TV. how much are they?
A grasshopper walks into a bar and the bartender says "This is the first time I've seen a grasshopper in here, do you know there's a drink named after you?" And the grasshopper says "Your kidding, they named a drink Thai Pham?"
I love Nike commercials. I love tennis. I love Maria Sharapova. http://youtube.com/watch?v=q0vjdF8XQYA
This is pretty cool.
boring... boring boring.
I want to put together little gift packages for my brothers, ages 13 and 11. Any ideas for what I should give them? I want to include fun learning stuff, like chemistry sets and books they might enjoy. Suggestions?
If you want them to not hate you... Nintendo DS LITE! BIG LEAGUE CHEW! THOSE SHOES THAT HAVE THE ROLLY WHEELS ON THE BOTTOM OF THEM???? What is that.. why does every little kid have that.. i'm just walking around and there they go .. everyones all sliding around all over the place.
AHHH WHAT IS THIS --- WHERE AM I
They have a ds - so I was going to get each of them a game. What's a recently released good kids' game?
New Super Mario Brothers is awesome, if they don't already have that.
Star Fox is the big new DS release this week and looks like a lot of fun.
And Madden NFL 07 came out last week, and it looks AWESOME
I think they have mario because I remember donovan saying he played it with them. Star Fox, huh... maybe that's the ticket.
A leatherman. Dangerous but at 11 and 13 that is what I would want.
A pocket knife? I'd never trust my little brothers with that - they're too "curious"
what do they like?
Kyle is going into 8th grade and is 13. He's the nerdy one, into video games, cartoons, dinasours and science stuff. So I want to encourage his intelligent side, but not encourage him to be totally introverted.
Matty just turned 11 and is going into 5th grade. He's not as brainy; he's much more into sports and outdoor stuff, and is more imaginative. So I'd love to get him all kinds of art stuff but I'm not sure what kind of sporty thing I can get him that'll fit in a package in the mail.
fear my photo taking skills!

and im done for the day with pics
so i saw this little band called Unwritten Law on sat night for free. Although i've always liked them, they wouldn't be a band like say, social d, where i would NEED to see the show. BUT they happened to be giving a free concert at one of our fav places in downtown fullerton called slidebar (owned by one of the popoff bros from LIT) so we were pretty stoked and i must say they were pretty awesome live.
I love unwritten law. nice!
they were REALLLLY good....now i'd def pay to see them. it was so awesome tho cause we just hit up slidebar just for dinner and drinks and we saw the stage set up for a concert so we asked the bartender what was up (cause a few weeks ago lit gave a mini concert) and they told us it was just an impromptu concert.
u just like them cause blink 182 mentioned them!
who's blink 182???
hah sure dont deny your love for you favortiest band in the world and know every lyric they have ever sang cali girl
HAHAHAHAH i know. I LUV blink...they're FUN!!! and YES i've seen em live quite a few times...so sue me....LOL
i love blink 182.
unwritten law is cool too. what are your favorite songs? mine are cailin and she says.
I love "she says". I think we should cover it, Matty.
i just read in rolling stone that travis barker is divorcing his wife shana that they had the mtv show with. sad.
i like unwritten law's last cd. a little overproduced corniness, but i LOVE some of their riffs and i love the guy's voice. don't love their lyrics

Hey guys, guess where I am right now.
bathroom? or disneyland.
Haha. No. I'm not even in California right now.
mexico?
No. Another hint: It's 11:08 AM where I am.
new york?
Unfortunately, not quite that close. I'm actually working out of Oracle's Nashua office right now.
france
your IP address says you're in Pinole, California
silly nerd you know that means nothing, he could be super cool and terminal serving into his pc or vnc or other stuff
I think somewhere in New England... Dan you got family there right?
Correct, sir. I'm staying over my aunt and uncle's in Maynard, MA.
bouyaah!! 1000th login, and it is at work!!
double bouyaah!!
We leave for vacation in 3 weeks!!! I'm so excited. :) :) :)
Por -qwhere?
Friends in my hall are also leaving the same time... Austria, Croatia & Turkey. Where are you two going?
haha - nowhere as exciting - San Francisco & Napa.
Gotta wait for the old man to have his morning coffee then it's off to move my stuff in his truck. Yay!
Before -

After -

i'm a huge fan of the short hair on you! good look, stef.
Lookin' good girly!
looks great! but it's interesting that you have a huge smile before, and a almost no smile after.
were you scurred
haha that is a funny obersvation! I was so excited ot get it cut before cuase it took me a year to convince brandon to let me cut it so i guess thats why i have a super smile on, and then after it was cut i was like OH MAN what is brandon gunna say, so maybe thats why its a less smile. haha
the short hair frames your face, and also somehow makes you look more tan
HA HA that is so funny just yesterday i was like DANG i look so tan but i have not been to the beach in a while to lay out how could this be.
I was thinking that too. But is it really the haircut, or just the lighting difference? Either way it looks good.
i like the short hair...it gives you a style w/o even trying. Im SO tempted to cut my hair too.
I will beat you! Don't do it!! I almost did this weekend, but I'm in a wedding in December so I had to fight the urge.
HEEHEEHEE i've sat in the chair a few times ready to get it then when they put it in a ponytail to cut i freak and say "NO NO NO, maybe next time, just gimme a trim" LOL
how long is it now??
hahaha i know exactly how you feel. i finally got up the nerve to cut my hair a couple of weeks ago. when she made the first cut and held it up I was like 'noooooo, what did i dooooo' but it was too late then hahahaha. but i like it.
steph, i like your cut, too. how do the bangs feel? do they get in your face alot?
my bangs have always been like that so i am use to it, i usually put them behind my ear or clip them back when i need them out of my face. Brandon wants me to grow them out. I do to, I wanted my bangs to be longer then the back.
that's how i was going to cut my hair this weekend!
it's funny though cause long hair i could just leave wet and not do anything with it but put product in and go, short hair i pretty much have to do every morning if i plan on going out. So that part stinks, haha. I hate doing my hair especially since i suck at it.
i basically never do my hair and no one ever knows the difference. i used to hate having curly hair, but i'm so over that phase!
shoulder length. it's kind of weird and 70's looking. i haven't had it cut since february.
eh i like before
I think this is amazing
I didn't watch the Emmy's but this was on Youtube this morning... i think it's amazing
i watched last night and i thought the opening was SO clever!! i totally dug it!
woman: "how do you handle your hate?"
man: "i keep it inside and let it crush my heart into a diamond."
LOL!!
Keira Knightley is hot!!! Well in Pirates of the Caribean she is. Not in her current anorexic state. hehe...
yeah! we just watched that too.
Was Mikayla's knee bothering her today? The weather used to bother my knee.
If you need to know a good doctor, Dr. D'Agostini in Bedminster is a good knee doctor.
She was looking pretty good in Pride & Prejudice...
Are you serious? Her hair looked awful and greasy the whole time AND her chest looked concave.
Yeah, she could afford to gain about 25 lbs., but I didn't notice anything wrong with her hair, and she's still got a beautiful face.
lol, this is why we need a dress code at schools. it's so easy to conceal tons of weapons!

Wow. that was messed up. LOL!
10 PISTOLS, A SHOTGUN, AN UZI. now i'm gonna think kids are walking around like this.
So I'm excited! I got the lease to my new place signed today and the key is in my pocket. And conveniently I am off this week, so I'll be moving my stuff tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for your support!
Okay so I'm not technically supposed to laugh but, I was waiting for this sister so I could accopany her to her study this afternoon. When we got there I had to turn around twice cause I didn't see her waiting on the sidewalk. So when I saw her, pulled over, rolled down my window she said it was raining to hard to make the call... So I was willing to drive her over to the call...as she was trying to get into the car she punched me in the eye with her sombrilla (yes OUCH) and then her literature bag fell down between the car and the curb into a gushing stream.
When she picked up her bag and literally had to dump like a bucket of water out of her bag. I know, I know, it's not technically funny 'cause all her literature + bible and song book EVERYthing was soaked but, the simple sight of seeing her dump the water from her purse hilarious =)
And once again OUCH, my eye =P
hahahahahahahahaha..........
Just got back from a fun evening at my sister-in-law's house. Adam's parents are spending the night at a resort as a gift from all of us, for their 35th anniversary, and all the younger friends out here had plans, so Adam and Tyler and I went over to his sister and her husband's house, and his other sister was there. We just did the casual "order pizza and play games" evening, but it was fun nonetheless. We're having a big fancy dinner tomorrow over there, for the anniversary, so it's gonna be good times.
That's one thing I really like about being here....Adam's family is really big on family time, and being close, and so if we have nothing to do at any given time, we ALWAYS have the option of spending time with all the fam. It's really nice, because my family was never close like that. I like that what I lack from my own family, I get from his. It's a nice trade-off.
Ok, I'm done rambling. :)
Yeah my family is not very close. I hope I find a sister that has a close family. It'd be nice. So enjoy!
I have to admit, it kind of freaked me out at first....I wasn't used to all the love, coming from a divorced household, and bad experiences in my past and all. But it's really nice now, and it's allowed me to get really close to his mom and sisters. I'm not even intimidated by his dad anymore, hahah!
That's great! Love is a good thing. LOL! so that is a plus with moving. Look at it as a blessing.
It's one of the things keeping me afloat right now, hahaha.
Well that and you need to keep the spider senses acute to sense snakes. LOL!
GAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Yeah, everywhere I go, I'm looking down, up, around....for anything and everything that has more or less than two legs.
I remember a few years ago when I was in Florida at my Aunt's house, there were critters everywhere. We picked up a salamander or a newt and the tail came off. LOL!
There are tiny little geckos everywhere on our back patio,....SO CUTE!!!!
Do they sell car insurance?
No....but I could have sworn I heard a British accent the other night out on the patio.
Haha...And here I thought it was Australian...
I think the old guy was Australian....the new voice they have is definitely a British one....and it just doesn't sound right to me.
Ok, I found an apartment on Harvey St. in Hackettstown. It's a place being rented out by an older couple. So I am set. I'll be moving in sometime during the week next week while I am off. Woohoo!!
Happy for you Dan!
Thank you sir. I'm gonna sign the lease before the meeting tomorrow.
that's great, man! is the apt attached to their home? or is it a whole house or something?
It's an old victorian home split up into 3 apartments. I have the second floor apt. The neighborhood seems nice too. The beauty of it also, is that it is a month to month lease. So if I want to upgrade to something else, I don't have to wait for the year to be up on the lease.
The old couple lives in Florida. They are just up here for the summer.
At least it'll be in my name now. LOL!

We just got a new receptionist here at work and she's CONSTANTLY asking me questions about what she should do in different scenarios. Now, this is weird because: 1. The old receptionist still works here, she's just doing something else now; 2. There's at least 3 other people who cover for her when she's out to lunch who are all still working here, and I'm not one of them; and the most important: 3. I've never really been friendly to her. I mean, I smile when I walk by and I introduced myself when she started, and I'm not impolite, but I haven't gone out of my way or ever said 'Let me know if you have any questions' because I don't think I'd have any answers.
For example: There's a beta fish in one of those tanks with a plant in the top by the reception area, and she buzzed me about it:
Nancy: I was just wondering what happens to the fish over the weekend.
Diana: I don't know anything about the fish.
Nancy: Because I gave him 5 pellets this morning, but I'm not sure if that's all he needs. Should I give him more?
Diana: Really, I don't know anything about the fish. You'll have to ask someone else.
Nancy: Oh, ok.
she's prolly just drawn to u cuz ur so friendly and cheerful :)
I can't tell if that's sarcastic or hopeful -
She sounds like one of those people that likes to talk about useless things.
cable guy just installed dvrs for me and todd
Cool. So you can record movies on TV and they store onto the network provided by the provider?
I'm so used to typing phone numbers on the number pad on my keyboard, I just realized that when I rest my fingers on it, they fall on 6-1-0, the local area code. Scary.
ugh my washing machine just pretty much flooded everywhere, the pipes in the back got dislodged somehow, water everywhere, and i moved the washer to clean up the water and the pipes back there - i have no idea how they were originally, and they seem not to fit together at all!! the wash i had in there, did it get rinsed? I have no idea. Just sudsy water all over the place. Oh and the fun stuff that got washed from under the washer and dryer.. ughhh... IMPECCABLE TIMING too cuz you know i have nothing else to do but fuss with sudsy water all over the laundry room and kitchen
IMPECCABLE!!!
I am so addicted... I am posting from my cell, in an elevator :-)
I am so addicted... I am posting from my cell, in an elevator :-)

Well hey, I'm available. Of course that's the case. LOL!
Seconded.
oh snap, this looks messed up
C'MON PEOPLE!! WHERE IS THE EXCITEMENT....THE DRAMA....I'M BORED!!
So I've got very little to do today at work, but I refuse to volunteer like a sucker again and be lassoed into extremely frustrating stuff. So if you've got an interesting website to share, today is the day. Otherwise I'll be on howstuffworks.com all day.
are you familiar with www.digg.com?
hahaha - no! It figures you'd send me to a tech page.
haha, there's plenty more than tech on there. check out the other categories!
old software, bow to me
So I now have to look for another apartment prospect. The one in Independence fell through. On to plan H, hehe... I called a guy in Allamuchy. Hopefully I'll get to look at that place tomorrow.
Moral of the story, don't get married unless you know without a doubt that person won't screw you over down the road. That persons credit gets linked to your own. Ah, the joys of divorce!
Riddle me this, Ezabel....if this move to AZ was supposed to be for good reasons, and we were doing it for the right reasons, and it was supposed to be a GOOD thing, then WHYWHYWHY.......WHY is Tyler having such a rough time adjusting, WHY am I feeling depressed, WHY do Adam and I still have no jobs, and WHYWHYWHY, in addition to the scorpion, spider/scorpion thingy, AND the baby tarantula I have found outside my house, did I find a King Snake in my bedroom tonight as we were getting ready to leave for the meeting? Yeah, that's right, a SNAKE!! IN MY HOUSE!!!! Doesn't that only happen in like, India?
I am angry/sad today.
You'll get used to it. That's a big adjustment. The critters on the other hand....I think anyone would freak out unless you're an Apache or Navajo. I understand your frustration in general though. I'm going through a bit of my own lately.
you can't expect to magically adjust to a foreign area overnight. i had to pray often for Jehovah to remind me or help me focus on the real reasons why we moved and remember why it was so good. there are going to be problems and challenges no matter where you go-doesn't mean it wasn't the best overall choice. homesickness stinks, but it subsides as you draw closer to the friends in the hall and get into the swing of things. time is the best (and sometimes only)healer.
as for the snake-WHOA. aren't king snakes poisonous? how did you get it out?
The general snake rule here is "black on yellow, he's a mellow fellow", and "Black on red, you're dead."
This one was black on yellow. I think there are some around here that are, but from the website I looked on last night, the only ones that are common are the coral snakes and the rattlesnakes. I'll be able to spot both of those a mile away, hahaha.
it'll be okay! And think of it as a biology lesson. I think i just read up on Arizona king snakes and they are not poisonous? I mean sure it's a little messed up to have a snake in your house, I get freaked out when I see an ant. But .. hey you'll have cool stories to tell.
Arizona doesn't mess around!
When I lived in florida, we were always inundated with lizards, frogs and of course, alligators. You adjust.
My boyfriend has a king snake..for a pet. Yep..cool stuff.
Don't worry K! Just pray a lot and make friends in the congregation and..like buy a sword to kill the next snake that dares enters your house.
How did you get rid of it from your bedroom?
I threw a shoe box over it, slid a thin book underneath, carried it outside, and tossed it into our backyard. I have a theory of how it got in now....which means it may have been my fault.
Our "laundry room" is in our garage, and a few times I have left clean clothes in the basket, by the dryer. I'm thinking the snake got in the garage, and thought it might be nice to snuggle up inside some warm clothes, and found it's way into the basket. When we saw it in the bedroom, it was right next to one of the laundry baskets I had recently brought in. So....that was good times.
You are braver then I am dude! I would have been screaming bloody murder.
Don't ge tme wrong, I screamed....but then I just wanted it OUT of my house, hahahah.
woohoo for search. i like searching for myself.
This doesn'twork for my name but, everyone elses does I searched for Dan & Alyssa and Gina but no dice for Livy =(
hey, look! it's an "Application error (Rails)"!
Livy, tell me about these things! So far, I've found two errors when searching, "livy", and "mikayla". I'll fix these ASAP.
The little girl giant woke up one morning, got a shower from the Sultans Elephant, and wandered off to play in the park...

absolutely beautiful!!
i couldn't watch the whole thing... too creepy
it creeped me out too...
juicymango nailed it on this one with the Uncanny Valley link. it didn't really creep me out that much, i was just pretty impressed
i was impressed that she found that link. i've never heard of that phenomenon before, but it is so true. how did you even search that, juicer?
i remember we talked about that on here some time ago and i just googled it.
The firs thing that popped into my mind when i opened that video was "uncanny valley" haha i just love that term
yeah! here it is. thank you search, i <3 u
/comments/show/277657
wow, that is incredible and freaky. the music makes it so much creepier
Supposedly they do this like once a year, and it takes like 18 hours
That was UNBELEIVABLE, it almost made me want to cry cause it was like a real little girl exploring for the first time and scared, and innocent and all about youth, that was beyond amaizing to me and the song made it amaizing times 10.
I really LOVED THAT
aw, you're so sensetive
You sound like the crazed "FAT LADY" escaped from the circus lol!
yeah that's pretty much me in a nutshell bahahahahhaa
Get outta her w/ that =P
