ok so i saw the World Trade Center movie yesterday. it's REALLY sad. but it tastefully made....nothing graphic, jsut the story about the policemen.
Oliver Stone isn't a sure bet. He's smart tho. He did a movie that didn't take any chances about a subject that will make him appear thoughtful, sensetive and patriotic. This was a perfect attempt to get back in the good graces of the critics and his disenchanted audience.

The first pic is of Red Rock, which is visible from most places within my town. Very pretty when the sun sets on it.
The second pic is of the fountain in the middle of the town. It goes off every hour on the hour, for about 15 minutes.....and you can also see this from just about anywhere in the town.
Pic #3 is a distant view of my town, with a view of Four Peaks in the backround....SO pretty.
The fourth pic is a daytime view of the aforementioned fountain.

Hey K I need that recipe for those cinnamon pita chips, I didn't get to try them since I was queasy that day but, now I'm having cravings for what I think they taste like =)

No problem, babe. It's SUPER easy....take flour tortillas, melt butter, and brush an individual tortilla with the melted butter on both sides. The cinnamon mixture is just half sugar, half cinnamon, as much as you want to make. Preheat the oven to about 350 degrees, and put foil on a baking sheet. Cut the tortilla into wedges (like a pizza), and sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mixture on both sides (I load mine up with the mixture, but you can use as much or as little as you want.)
Line them up on the baking sheet and bake them for about 6 minutes, or until the chips are crispy.

one time, i was stuck in traffic on the meadowbrook (what else is new) trying to get home from the convention. there was more traffic than i've ever seen. so i thought - i bet if i go the other way on this road, i could get to another highway or bridge that will get me the heck off this stupid island.
and so, i went the other way on the meadowbrook. until the road ended at the beach. no more road. just water. it was insane. so i turned around and went back the way i just came - and by then, all the traffic had cleared and i made it back over the GWB in 45 minutes. WOOT.
