I am so exhausted. Tyler has had a nasty sinus infection for the last couple of days, and the past two nights he has literally been up for hours in the middle of the night, couching and hacking. I wish the medicine would kick in soon. The bags under my eyes are bad enough, but now I feel like the lack of sleep is making me get sick.

That stinks.
My kids wouldn't go to sleep last night. They were wired. Then my Dad woke me up in the middle of the night because some animal was knocking over our garbage cans. He thought it was a bear.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

UGH i have the same thing! poor tyler! i havent been able to sleep due to the headaches. so annoying.

specialk specialkOG 2003

Yeah....I know it's part of my job as a mom, but there is nothing worse than being sound asleep, then woken up at 3am to hear your child hacking up a lung and yelling for you. So sad....and so not cool for the bags under my eyes. I shouldn't call them bags....they are my "Pradas", that's how bad they are, hahahah.
Sad thing is, he's fine during the day, barely coughs at all...just at night...in the middle of the night....:(

I was looking forward to the go-karts.

M
monsterEst. 2006

Ok, I am leaving for work.... but I totally want an explanation... was that an anoucnement? Are 'we' going go-karting with Adam & Tyler during the shower? Inquiring minds want to know? you have like 20 min before I am back up! :D

specialk specialkOG 2003

Heck no....hahaha, I mean, we want one eventually, and sooner rather than later, but oh my word if I were preggos right now....oh my. First thing's first....we both need job-a-roonies.

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004

OMG, I would require so much me and baby time *SQUEEL* I'd be like "Yes, technically this is Kiersten's belly fruit but you'll have to pry this baby from my cold dead fingers." LOL I swear, please try to have a girl =)

specialk specialkOG 2003 originalsnob

You gonna fly out to AZ when I have one? Hahaha. As much as I'd like a girl, part of me thinks I'm a "boy" kind of mom....like I would do a better job with boys than girls. I dunno....

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004 specialk

I know =( I remember you saying this RATZ!
But maybe...just maybe, you'd be an AMAZING mom no matter what =P
Chew on THAT suka =P

Aw, thanks sweetie! Don't get me wrong....I do want a girlie girl....I just worry she'd turn out like me, hahaha!

I was thinking about this... twin girls would be best! So you could always have one and have a spare! Plus you could name one, and then, WE (ezabel) could name the other one, maybe in a poll!(cuz you wouldn't want matchy-matchy names, and this way for sure you wouldn't!)

specialk specialkOG 2003 monster

Hahaha...oh wow....so....I just won't be telling you guys EVER, when I get pregnant, hahaha.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

i know and you're a good mommy. have you taken him to the dr?

specialk specialkOG 2003

Yeah, we took him yesterday. She put him on amoxicillin (the yummy pink kind!!!), plus a cough syrup, plus 2 different nasal sprays. Poor kid....hopefully it kicks in soon.

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004

Maybe some 'Sleepy Time' tea would help him doze off if the meds aren't kicking in fast enough, then by the time they do kick in he'll already be sleep =/

specialk specialkOG 2003

Maybe some of that would help me, hahaha.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

awww poor baby! i do hope he feels better and you get some rest too!! give him a hug for me k?

specialk specialkOG 2003

I will.....hopefully this doesn't last long for him. :)

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

usually they dont. mine last a bit longer here cause of the smog adn bad air but where you're at it's pretty fresh, right?

specialk specialkOG 2003

Yeah, it is SO clear and fresh here. My big concern is asthma....he had a form of viral asthma when he was one and a half, but he grew out of it. The doctor was concerned about the cough spreading deeper into his lungs, and if at that point he'd need to have an inhaler....oh boy, I hope this goes away.
