well not quit quit.. but after your 4 years are up.. you can leave.
And you basically join a reserve for another 4 years.. that really does nothing. you're basically a civilian. But they can call you up for duty involuntarily
but anyway after that 4 years.. you can basically leave anytime you want..
especially after the 8 years.. you can just walk away. my bro's been in for about 8-9 years.
