I go to a rug place looking for a rug naturally. So the guy asks me if i need any help, so i say well i am looking for a zebra print rug but i dont want a tight zebra stripe pattern i want it more spaced out. So he goes we dont have that , and walks by me , i say okay he goes and gets a peice of leapard carpet, and says we have this.. So i am looking at it and i go do you have any zebra over there thinking he was just showing me that to show me the closesness in pattern- and he goes isn't this zebra.. IN ALL MY LIFE i have never had anyone mix up an animal print as different as zebra and leapard.. I had to laughed & think he has definalty been working in the rug business to long if he cant tell his animals apart.
Hahahaha! this sound like a Livy-style rant =P
i couldn't beleieve it . & he was seriuos! & I walk 2 feet and there is a WHOLE BOOK of different zebra prints.
I just ordered from this catalog. They don't have zebra, but they have pretty cool patterns. And I read that using carpet tiles rather than wall to wall is one of the best things we can all do for the environment because you can take them wherever you move and they don't take up as much space in landfills. This company is particularly environmentally friendly.
(But nothing is zebra, just some other funky patterns)
Oh sorry, I didn't see your above comment. Nevermind!
Ya i keep seeing this capret tile stuff all over the place. (btw he didn't have the zebra print i was looking for, I think potterybarn has it but it is in brown)
Carpet tile also prevents wrinkles and bubbles (places where the carpet puckers up) from forming. We're having that problem at the hall and they're thinking of replacing it all with carpet tiles instead.
i am just looking for area rugs.
that is a really good idea for kingdom halls..
cause also if one peice gets messed up you can just replace that one right?
Mmhmm! Our carpet keeps bubbling up and we've had to fix it several times because people keep tripping..not cool.
