And, in other local news, Tyler has his first school field trip *someday*. They are going to Frank Lloyd Wright's 'Taliesin', which is literally right down the road from us. Here's a link:

It's pretty cool, because they are learning things right now in class that have a lot to do with archituecture, and other cool stuff. Very relevant field trip. For second graders, hahaha.
sounds like a fun field trip.. but if i was tyler, i would only be interested in what the gift shop had. haha
nah, actually when i was tyler's age i wanted to be an architect, so maybe i would have been into it
hey K, just as a word of caution, it may not be the greatest idea to be putting the DAY and LOCATION where your kid along with other people's kids is going to be, on the internet, which is full of predators, and you do not know who is reading this site
and yeah sure i know museums get busloads of kids going on field trips every day but ya know, just be careful, you just never know
^^^^^True story^^^^^^^ One of my adverse clients was a serious nut who gave my client pics of "their baby" when asking for child support. Then she renegged and said she never had a baby... long story short, the pics were of a baby and family in england. She had pics from when he was born to when he was about 2, eating, walking, talking, smiling, etc. While the kid wasn't in danger, it's incredibly creepy. The lesson is, the internet is public, and any nut out there can read what you type.
Man, now I feel like a bad parent...between last week and this week, I'm beginning to rethink this whole "Mother of the Year" award I was about to give myself. :)
Didn't even think about it. Got caught up in the excitement of the whole field trip thing. My bad. Good lookin' out, Kam....thanks. :)
Thanks for the editing job, too. :)
haha no prob
and you're not a bad parent
And a funny side note about this topic....I was telling my mom today where they were going on the field trip, and she didn't hear me very well, so she said, "Oh, Telluride? How nice. That will be fun."
Um, yeah, mom....we're taking the kids to Colorado....for a day.
