WORD UP SON. The validity in your argument is bringing out the generalities of addiction.
Being addicted to anything is harmful...Tv is just one of the easiest addictions. As we revolutionize in techonology and progress with increasing access to all sorts of media... the choke they have on this society will only increase.

So really - in the end... Think for Yourself.
