does anyone know of any good places to eat in Hoboken? Im looking for a place where you can get food that everyone likes (like not a Thai place).
Isn't there a Houlihans in that plaza with the pool hall shoot! Call my sister it's right accross from the city, I'm a bum... I've eaten there a million times =P
depends on what you want...you should be able to find something for any taste right there on Washington. Aside from that, there's a really great place called Zafra Kitchen (latin food) & the owners have another restaurant Cucharamama which was featured during restaurant week (I've yet to make it over there though). a lot of the smaller places are just pubs with limited fare. i'd suggest hitting up either washington st or willow ave and browsing.
i would like to know where we're going in advance because im going to need to make a reservation
ah well what are you looking for? atmostphere, price range, etc...
im looking to spend like 20 bucks for dinner (including a drink, but not necessarily an appetizer), im not sure the kind of food because i dont know what everyone likes, so i was thinking like hamburgers and steak or something like that we're going after the assembly so we're gonna be dressed up... im not sure what else
you can look at menus here ( http://menupix.com/nyc/index_pad_a-results.php?id=312&carea=Hoboken ), but, let me warn you, you're going to be hard pressed to find something that cheap in hoboken. the only thing i can think of where i've seen prices that cheap is black bear ( http://www.blackbearbar.com/index2.html ). hope this was helpful!
My favorite mexican place there is East L.A.
My favorite watering hole is Scotland Yard.
