So we might get another dog....this weekend. But very unexpectedly. My boss's friend is getting rid of her 2 year old mini dachshund, because she has 2 big dogs, and doesn't really want the little one. She was gonna take him to the pound, but my boss took the dog so it wouldn't get killed, hoping to find a home for it. No one wants it so far.....but WE MIGHT!!! I have to convince Adam to let me have it....SO CUTE!!

animal shelters are FULL of dogs around that age, 2-3 years.. people just get tired of taking care of them or maybe they didn't realize how big the dog would be or how much work
why don't people think before they take a pet into their home

i can't even think about the fact that my dog will die in 10-12 years, it makes me so sad! i love him so much! how can you not grow so attached to your dog after 2 years...(for me after two minutes of knowing he was mine!)

Aw thanks....and yes, we HAVE THE DOG!!!!! He's a big guy...kind of timid, and VERY loving. He'll adjust nicely once my dogs quit bugging him.
