Do you know the make and model of your head unit?

negative... nooo idea lol i drive a Honda 98 DX piece of junk tho, if that helps, but it doesnt really matter.. i think i just need something to plug into the cig lighter, right?

well I was asking to find out if you have an 'easy' aux in... if so that is 10X better than any FM transmitter... YMMV

you can use an FM Modulator.

that's the best way to go if you don't have an aux-in.
