When I was little I used to be afraid of the toilet in the basement FOR THIS VERY REASON!!! I don't remember where I heard it but, I think my aunt by marriage ('cause she's Jamaican) told an 'old wives tale' from the island about a snake coming up the toilet and bitting people.

IAN!!!! Now you're gonna give me nightmares!!!

Seriously though, anytime I use the bathroom, I lift up both parts of the toilet seat to check for bugs...you never know, hahaha.
