you know i really didn't expect to be this upset, but i really enjoyed working there and the people i work with.

at 8:30 this morning a meeting was emailed out with the president of our division that would be held at 9 am. he announced that 100 people would be laid off. it was always a possibility with the business doing so poorly, but never expected to be that large-scale. he's new and had a reputation at his previous jobs of doing this so it shouldn't be such a suprise.

I'm sorry, I know you were just mentioning how everyone there missed you the other day how friendly they all are.
I also hope it's a blessing in disguise, I'm SURE it will prove to be!
